We encourage you to fill out the ATC enrollment form as it becomes the blueprint of the participant’s curated experience. The process is simple but thorough.
Accomodations
ATC Sessions Retreat Houses aren’t just places to stay — they’re immersive environments, each set in premier estates designed to evoke emotion, spark creativity, and deepen every experience.
Iconic and eclectic: original art pieces, old-school turntables spinning vinyls that whisper stories, experiential art labs that invite creation, and spaces that welcome meditation, movement, and meaning from sport to sound baths to meetings with visionaries, mavericks and experts in business and all forms of the arts. Every room is crafted to engage and inspire.
From our Montana log cabin perched on 25,000 acres with the Bitterroot River flowing through it, to our Balboa Island beach house graced by the harbor and given life by the fun zone to the iconic sands of Zuma Beach at Malibu Park to where we are now:
The Cinematic Mulholland Vista House atop the Malibu Mountains with breathtaking views of the city, and the ocean. The Ponderosa meets Vintage Malibu…walls adorned with incredible art works and vintage skate boards, and 5 acres of hillside. Its iconic. The Laguna Beach Surf Cottage built in 1929 just steps from the sand where we host our intensives.

Sessions
ATC Retreats is the dynamic intentional retreat program. We curate the retreat week from your Enrollment Form weaving experiences based on your interests – if you don’t know what your interests are yet we will help you identify them. ATC is an experiential journey utilizing the power of human connection to inspire you for one incredible life.
Full Session
Adolescent Sessions: 12-17 years old
Young Adult Sessions: 18-26 years old
Duration: 7 days/6 nights

Arrive Sunday: Depart Saturday
Intensive Session
ATC conducts intensive sessions for the individual who requires that something extra. This experience can be instrumental in determining the appropriate level of continued care or connection needed. It also can be of great benefit for the participant who is looking for an accelerated and individualized experience.
Duration: 4 days/3 nights
Custom Sessions
- Requests for corporate and private organizations can be accommodated.
- Three-day intensives are available upon request. This session is a highly individualized and accelerated ATC experience.
- We offer weeks upon request with a specialized focus ranging from digital detox to Orthodox experiences.
Enrollment Process
In addition to the online enrollment form ATC conducts a brief phone interview. In consideration of all information provided, we may offer a clinical assessment. It is our goal to ensure the safety of all participants. Any potential participant who does not meet criteria for this level of engagement will be assisted to find the appropriate level of care or connection.
Upon acceptance all fees are due. The retreat must be paid in full prior to session date. The retreat cost may vary, please call for rate. The family will receive the Welcome Packet that includes the enrollment agreement, arrival instructions, packing list, participant handbook, and contact numbers with a timeline of action items.
Transportation
Flights
Upon commitment, you will receive booking instructions for flight arrangements. Local airports include Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). We will provide a two-hour window for arrival as well as one for the departure day.
Our team will greet the participant at the airport as well as accompany them at time of departure. Special safety accommodations are made for adolescent travelers.
Airfare is not included in retreat cost.
Automobile
If you would like to drive the participant, you may. We will provide you with an arrival and departure window. You will be offered a brief tour of the retreat house and property.
Refunds/Cancellations
Due to the limited number of attendees in each session there is no refunds. You may be offered another session if there is one available. No refunds or credits are given for failure to attend, arriving late, leaving early or being asked to leave due to safety or a violation of retreat rules/guidelines.
Alter the Course LLC (ATC) reserves the right to deny or revoke acceptance to anyone for any reason the company deems appropriate for the safety and welfare of all. Alter the Course, LLC (ATC) does not and shall not discriminate, or tolerate discrimination, based on age, ancestry, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation in any of its activities or operations. ATC is a drug, alcohol, and nicotine free space.
